Homeless Millennials
I recently read that the average age of a homeless person in the United States is 9 years old. What?!
There’s been some debate as to whether or not that statistic is accurate, but either way there’s definitely a problem.
Grrr…
That really irritates me. The richest nation in the world, huh?
A State of Mind Called Time Pt. III

“In all our deeds, the proper value and respect for time determines success or failure.”
—El Hajj El Malik El Shabazz (Malcolm X)
Have you ever met somebody that’s always late for class, work, and everything else, but has the nerve to be mad because he or she didn’t get to leave on time?
Please tell me that’s not you. Are you one of those people that likes to be “fashionably late”?

With Friends Like These…
“Emotion can be the enemy. If you give in to your emotion, you lose yourself. You must be at one with your emotions because the body always follows the mind.”-Bruce Lee
Emotions are the guardians of your well-being. They are your friends and their primary objective is to ensure survival. They are arguably the most powerful force governing our behavior.
There is an old adage, however, that rings true when it comes to emotions. “With friends like these, who needs enemies?”

Al Duncan Testimonial – FCCLA – Texas State Meeting
Al, what a pleasure it was to meet you and have you speak at the Texas State FCCLA meeting. Your message was just what the 5000+ students in attendance needed to hear and your method of delivery was excellent. Having the students engaged in the presentation and giving such positive reinforcement to them was wonderful. The support you gave one of our member’s friend was commendable. I know that the family will appreciate that act of kindness that you did. I also appreciate you coming early to get to know your audience. The students appreciated your willingness to be so visible so that they felt like they knew you before you spoke. The comments we received on the evaluation sheets were excellent.
